Description
Restaurant-style Crispy Spiced Chicken Starter made with juicy chicken marinated in yogurt, Indian spices, and coated for an irresistibly crunchy finish.
Ingredients

- 500 g boneless chicken
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- Oil for frying
- Fresh curry leaves (optional)
- Onion rings
- Lemon wedges
- Mint chutney
Instructions
1. Mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and spices.
2. Add chicken and coat well.
3. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
4. Mix rice flour and corn flour into the chicken.
5. Heat oil to 350°F.
6. Fry chicken in batches for 5–7 minutes until golden.
7. Drain on paper towels.
8. Fry curry leaves if desired.
9. Serve immediately with onion rings, lemon wedges and mint chutney.
Notes
- Marinate overnight for maximum flavor.
- Air fry at 390°F for 12–15 minutes for a lighter version.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
