Description
A creamy Australian-inspired dessert dip made with vanilla custard, cream cheese, caramel sauce, and crushed biscuits, served inside a toasted cob loaf for the ultimate party dessert.

- 1 round cob loaf
- 500ml vanilla custard
- 250g cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1/2 cup crushed Marie or Digestive biscuits
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Extra crushed biscuits
- Chocolate flakes
- Extra caramel sauce
- Fresh strawberries or banana
Instructions
1. Slice and hollow the cob loaf.
2. Toast the loaf and bread pieces at 160°C for 10 minutes.
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
4. Mix in custard, cream, brown sugar and vanilla.
5. Fold in crushed biscuits and caramel sauce.
6. Fill the toasted cob loaf with the dip.
7. Top with biscuit crumbs, chocolate flakes and caramel drizzle.
8. Serve immediately with toasted bread pieces and fresh fruit.
Notes
- Keep refrigerated until serving.
- Best enjoyed the same day.
- Do not freeze.
- Substitute chocolate sauce if preferred.
