Easy Herb Butter Roasted Cabbage Steaks with garlic, fresh herbs, and crispy caramelized edges. Perfect for weeknight dinners and holiday side dishes.
Ingredients
1 medium head cabbage
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, thyme, and rosemary, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Remove damaged outer leaves from cabbage.
3. Slice cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks.
4. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
6. Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper.
7. Place cabbage steaks on a lined baking sheet.
8. Brush with olive oil and herb butter mixture.
9. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
10. Serve warm with remaining herb butter.
Notes
Use green or savoy cabbage.
Fresh herbs provide the best flavor.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
