Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare muffin pan.

2. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and lemon zest.

3. Whisk sugars, eggs, butter, milk and vanilla.

4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.

5. Fold in raspberries.

6. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.

7. Sprinkle coarse sugar and almonds if desired.

8. Bake 20 to 24 minutes.

9. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.

10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
